It is recommended that you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality and match the description that was provided to you.
Product Illustration & Description
Duchess & Deco will always try to represent each product design as accurately as possible via both photography and the copy provided on this website. We are committed to providing you with the best possible images and descriptions of all our products. However, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all colours in the website images are accurate representations of the products.
Please be assured that we have made every effort to display and depict the colours of our products as accurately as possible. However, what colours you will see will depend on your monitor type and age, video card differences, and printing variations. We cannot promise or guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. This variance in natural colour makes each item unique and it is not a justification to cancel an order or grounds for return.
Please be aware that each Duchess & Deco umbrella is a bespoke design and therefore individually printed and manufactured. Therefore colour variations can occur and no two may ever be identical.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend that you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.
Please be aware that orders can only be cancelled before they shipped and we are unable to cancel an order unless we receive your request in writing to [email protected] prior to shipment. You must receive an acknowledgement from us confirming the cancellation, for the cancellation to be valid. There are no exceptions. Any charges incurred by Duchess & Deco from banks and payment gateways will also be deducted from your refund.
Products Damaged in Transit
If your products arrive damaged, please contact Duchess & Deco as soon as possible. All damage claims must be filed with photos to [email protected] within 3 days of the receipt of your order. We will arrange to have the damaged product returned to us and a replacement sent to you as quickly as possible. Damaged products must be returned in the condition received by you with all the original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
Although we make every attempt to deliver your products correctly and on time, accidents and delays do sometimes happen. Please note that Duchess & Deco does not hold any financial responsibility nor will we compensate for unexpected time delays.
Purchase & Delivery of Products
Your order via www.duchessanddeco.com.au represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by Duchess & Deco once we have sent you an email confirmation. Any products on the same order, which we have not confirmed in an order confirmation email, do not form part of that contract.
As product orders are placed and received via the Internet and processed by Duchess & Deco, it is important that you consider and take care to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. All information entered on the ‘check-out’ page must be accurate. Duchess & Deco will not be responsible for a missed delivery because the delivery information was inadequate or incorrect. If you have any special requirements or circumstances regarding delivery, please email us on [email protected] as soon as you place your order.
Duchess & Deco uses PayPal for all payment transactions via www.duchessanddeco.com.au. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card and by using PayPal, your credit card number is never shared with Duchess & Deco.
All payment information provided by you is securely encrypted within the PayPal servers, so you can shop with complete confidence and peace of mind.
When you place your order your credit or debit card is charged with the whole amount owing. Your sale will be submitted for processing by Duchess & Deco as soon as you click the checkout button. You will then receive a confirmation email from us, with a receipt for your order and delivery. By placing an order through the Duchess & Deco website, you are confirming that you are legally authorised to use the means of payment tendered. You are either the credit or debit cardholder or have the cardholder’s permission to use their card for payment.
Occasionally there may be some information included on the Duchess & Deco website that contains inaccuracies, omissions and typo’s that could relate to pricing, availability and product descriptions.
