Where are the Duchess & Deco umbrellas made?

Each umbrella has been designed by you in Australia! The frames and the canopies of the Pool Umbrellas, Shade Umbrellas and Outdoor Umbrellas are all manufactured in South Africa.

Can I interchange my canopy?

Absolutely! That’s the whole point! You can have multiple covers for your umbrella. The Pool Umbrellas, Shade Umbrellas and Outdoor Umbrellas all have interchangeable skins that can be changed easily without tools.

Why does my umbrella come with a top panel?

All of the Duchess & Deco canopies are over 2m in size and therefore require a vented opening at the top (called the top panel). This helps to relieve the pressure on the canopy.

How do I order just a canopy?

Please refer to the product page for each model (Pool Umbrella, Shade Umbrella and Outdoor Umbrella) and select CANOPY ONLY to purchase a canopy of your choice.

Can I buy a Gift Voucher?

Yes please! Beautifully designed and crafted garden, shade or outdoor umbrellas make the perfect wedding, Christmas or special birthday gift. Please contact us via [email protected] to organise a Duchess & Deco gift voucher. Vouchers are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and are only valid for 12 months from the purchase date.

Can I design my own umbrella if I have my very own unique design?

Absolutely. Your umbrella is a blank canvas ready and waiting to have your own unique design exhibited. Please contact us via [email protected] with your contact details and a photo or picture of your design.

I’m unsure about what design would best suit my outdoor setting. Can you help me choose a design?

We would love to help you choose a suitable design to complement and enhance your outdoor setting, garden, patio, balcony or pool area. Please send through some photographs of your outdoor space to [email protected] and we can help you design the canopy for you. We can also help you choose the most suitable size and frame to fit your outdoor requirements.

How do I protect my umbrella from the weather?

Maintain your umbrella by using a protective cover and storing it out of the elements when not in use. Remember colour lasts longer in the shade. Please ensure your umbrella is closed in windy conditions where the wind speed exceeds 25km/h. Make sure your umbrella is clean and dry when it is stowed away for extended periods of time. What is the difference between the Garden Umbrellas, Shade Umbrellas and Outdoor Umbrellas?

These umbrellas differ in both shape and materials. Please take a thorough look at each Product Specifications before you make your decision. What is the Outdoor Umbrella made of?

The Outdoor Umbrella is made with a silver anodised aluminum frame that is lightweight but strong. Enjoy the benefits of marine grade aluminum, to give you easy manoeuvrability and significant durability.

What is the Shade Umbrella made of?

Just like the Outdoor Umbrella, the Shade Umbrella is made with a silver anodised aluminum frame that is lightweight but strong. Enjoy the benefits of marine grade aluminum, to give you easy manoeuvrability and significant durability.

What is the Pool Umbrella made of?

The Pool Umbrella is made with a silver anodised aluminum pole and has light composite fiberglass frame arms that will not rust. This frame is significantly lighter than aluminum frames and can be easily picked up and carried by one person.

Do you deliver outside of Australia?

Yes! We welcome all international orders. Please contact [email protected] and include all your contact details. We can then organise sending you an invoice via PayPal and a quote for shipping (with an estimated delivery timeframe).

How do I cancel my order?

If in the unlikely event that you may want to cancel your order, you are permitted to do so within 24 hours and only if our factory hasn’t already begun to process the order. Please contact [email protected].

Can I pay by EFT instead of using PayPal?

Yes, of course you can. Please send an email to [email protected] and we can arrange sending you an invoice with EFT instructions.

Why should I purchase a cover for my umbrella?

We highly recommend that you purchase a protective cover for your umbrella. Please refer to Protective Umbrella Cover in products.
